Talladega

Okay we officially welcomed our children in to redneck central. We took them to the Busch series race on Saturday in Talladega. This is a smaller race with less people. They had soo much fun!
Here are all the kids we took with us. Yes 6 kids!
Riley is redneck central in this picture.
Maybe it is a cross between redneck and frankenstein.
Victoria was really into the race for about the first 30 laps then she lost interest. She started eating and could not crack the peanuts with her little muscles.
This is Riley's bestfriend Tyler Herring.
They are in class together, baseball, football and church.
Four of the six children were very excited that Tony Stewart won the race.
However the girls were very tired afterwards and laid down to rest.
The boys however just wanted to play.
So a game a football was started.
This is some of our best friends Jenny and Jonathon telling us a story about the old days.
The girls are done resting and have decided to give each other rides.
Well it was hot and Jonathon got a little bit burnt!
On Sunday just the adults went to the race.
We had a good time cooking out with no children!

Here is a picture of the screen that I watched most of the race on.

Everyone around us was too tall for me to see well that day.
But it was fun and Jeff Gordon did not win!

Spare Time

Well we lost another game last night. But the kids had fun. We can't seem to get all our kids to play well at the same time.

Here is Riley at the pitcher's mound as a runner is getting ready to make a home run!

I get to be in the dugout trying to get the kids to keep their hands to themselves.

Victoria has some fun playing with friends during the ball games.

Funny Email

I just thought this was hilarious and wanted to post it for everyone to enjoy!

Four Worms and a lessonA minister decided that a visual demonstration would add emphasis to his Sunday sermon.
Four worms were placed into four separate jars.
The first worm was put into a container of alcohol.
The second worm was put into a container of cigarette smoke.
The third worm was put into a container of chocolate syrup.
The fourth worm was put into a container of good clean soil.
At the conclusion of the sermon, the Minister reported the following results:
The first worm in alcohol - Dead.
The second worm in cigarette smoke - Dead
Third worm in chocolate syrup - Dead
Fourth worm in good clean soil - Alive.
So the Minister asked the congregation - What can you learn from this demonstration?
Maxine was sitting in the back, quickly raised her hand and said,'As long as you drink, smoke and eat chocolate, you won't have worms!'
That pretty much ended the service --

Now nobody can say that we don't keep in touch.

Alright everyone, other people are doing it and I joined the band wagon. I am starting this Miller family blog to keep everyone up to date and informed on what is happening.

Here is a picture that I think is just so cute to get started!
